2023 is the Testimonial year of John Simpson, the Middlesex and England wicket-keeper. Since his debut for Middlesex in 2009 John has played 418 games for the club, scored over 12,300 runs and claimed almost 800 victims.
Vinny & Ted will be supporting John’s benefit year by hosting a couple of events, the first of which will be a Rugby themed evening at a date TBC.
Our guests for the evening will be Alistair Hargreaves & Chris Wyles, who won the Premiership and Heineken Cup in their time together at Saracens.
Alistair is a former South African International and captained Saracens to their Premiership Final win in 2015.
Chris represented the US in three world cups and was captain of the US sevens team and represented them at the Rio Olympics.
Following retirement from rugby they together co-founded the highly successful Wolfpack beer brand, which we’ll be sampling on the evening.
Angus Fraser, our resident Michael Parkinson, will once again host the evening so come on down to listen and be part of a fascinating rugby discussion as we approach the end of a thrilling Six Nations.
