We had a fantastic evening at our second book club event with Alison Barrow talking about her love for books, her role at Penguin and how she works with authors and brands to maximise the reach of new books.
Matt has promised to put up a bookshelf in the bar and we are very grateful to Alison who has offered to supply some books for it.
Alison’s book recommendations for those that couldn’t attend were: “Same As it Ever Was” by Claire Lombardo, “All The Colours Of The Dark” by Chris Whitaker and Paula Hawkins new novel “The Blue Hour” which is out later in the year.
